Swayze Wreck report

Collided with the iron steamer CORSICA (!) and sank quickly, taking all hands with her. Lost on a foggy night while bound Cleveland for St. Ignace, MI. The wounded CORSICA was beached near Ossineke, MI and was later patched and proceeded to Ashtabula. Also wrecked in 1884, when struck by the iron carferry GREAT WESTERN in the Detroit R..
